Absolutely wonderful!Nov 21, 2009 This coffee Urn is just what we needed for our football concession. It makes great tasting coffee but we also use it for hot water to make hot chocolate. I would highly recommend it.
Nice Coffee UrnNov 19, 2009 There's not much to say as I just purchased this recently. I wish they made this thing with 60-cups. I purchased similar coffee urns before and they all died on me in a year or two. Hopefully this does not die on me so soon. Why I didn't put all 5 stars was because the body is made from aluminum.
It's a coffee makerOct 18, 2009 Can't really give any fantastic reviews. Needed a new coffee maker for meetings...this fit the bill. I think these things cost too much, but what can you do if you need a large coffee maker?

Good reliable unitOct 10, 2009 We bought this as a replacement for an older unit. The unit is a very good value and a reliable design.
Pros:
- reliable
- strong handles and construction
- value for money
Cons:
- no supply power light (so if your breaker blows you don't know).
- long brew times 1-1.5 hours for 100 cups

Ol' reliable!May 07, 2009 This West Bend 100-Cup urn is the most dependable of all my "fleet" of coffee urns. In my opinion the polished aluminum doesn't look as ritzy as stainless steel models, and requires a bit more scrubbing to keep it new looking. But one of my two new stainless steel models (in my case, Waring) stopped percolating after only 5 uses, and gave colored water rather than coffee during a presentation. My replacement, if Waring won't fix it under warranty, will be West Bend models. Long-term reliability/dependability is far more important than fancy looks of imported stainless steel.
