Good for the priceNov 04, 2006
Bought this scale for $5 with free shipping on sale. Might not be as good as some higher end, but you can not beat the price. It works as advertised, the accuracy seems good when I compare with a scale used in the hospital. I use this scale to monitor my weight daily and it helped me keep fit!

Although this scale is a bit small and you can only put half of your feet on it, it WILL NOT tip over as you stand with one foot on the edge of the scale. It's by far the best analog scale I have ever used. The reading accurately goes back to 0 when you come off the scale. Most analog scale show 1 lb or -1 lb when you come off but not this Tanita HA524W Analog Scale. In addition, the entire top surface of the scale has grips on it to prevent you from falling down. There is no need to go for a larger and more expensive scale. I am living in a small apartment in New York City. Space is very limited and therefore the smaller one is the better one. Trust me! Go for this scale! Update on 20th October, 2006: !!!When I bought it, it was only $6; now that it's over $10, it may not be the best choice; digital scales are only around $15, look for them!!!

First of all, the scale is a little small in my taste. Being a size 12, my feet hang off at both ends of the scale. I also do not like the numbering scheme as it will say 110 then in bold 12, then 130 and so on. But for 6 bucks I guess I cant complain.
