Almost perfect but no rangeNov 11, 2009
For my uses the remote should get one star. The range is very short compared to our previous model from Bebe.
I like to take remote outside when baby is sleeping. I could cover the complete yard (80 ft x 350 ft). This remote does not work well outside the house, it has no range. Our house is brick, but the Bebe worked fine thru the walls
Otherwise for in house use it is almost perfect. The self contained batteries charge good, the Voice Activation works great, the ability to pickup noise is great
Recommend unless you need range.
Not worth it buy the Avent instead - way too much feedback and no sensitivity functionOct 26, 2009 Bottom line this is not worth the money - the interference and feedback is way too much - even in a house with no other houses nearby. Also it has a noise alert but no sensitivity function - so every time the baby makes a peep in turns on - which anyone who has a newborn will tell you means its going on every 10 seconds. The bottom line is you want a monitor that lets you decide what you want to hear this does not let you do that. Buy the Avent instead its has a great sensitivity function for only slightly more money.
No complaintsOct 16, 2009 This monitor does its job nicely. Great range - I used it couple of houses away from mine. I used it in the woods between two cabins. Battery life is great. Overall no complaints.
Great product!!Sep 18, 2009 We've been using this monitor for over two months now and we love it! I especially love the feature where you don't hear any sound at all until the baby starts making noises - so you don't have to sit and listen to static. We have wireless internet and several cordless phones and we've only had one problem with feedback - all we did was change the channel (there are lots of them) and now we have no issues at all.
We did buy the system with two monitors, but I think we would have been fine with the one monitor (less money.) We always end up just carrying one of the monitors around with us when we go into a another room or go outside. The battery lasts a long time.
The range on this is great. We have a three story house and we don't have any issues anywhere in the house. Sometimes when we go outside and there is a lot of house between where we are and where the baby is, we go out of range. But, we just set the monitor where it is in range and crank up the volume and we have no trouble hearing her. I would definitely recommend this product.

Good solid monitor, but...Sep 10, 2009 The overall quality of this monitor is good. Very good sensitivity, and volume. You will definitely hear what is going on. The reception range is disappointing though. With a couple of walls in the way, it barely makes it down the hall. I have been using this for two weeks, but will probably be returning it once I find one that works better. Even with the voice activated mode, it makes a lot of static. Every time it loses it's link, it beeps and makes noise when it reconnects. We don't know if our baby made a little noise that triggered it, or if it was a lost connection. The parent units will operate portably on the rechargeable batteries, but they are rather large and clunky. Also, I was very disappointed to find that it doesn't have an accommodation in the nursery unit for batteries in case of power loss.
