I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH SCALE FOR THIS REASON. IT WAS NOT
STABLE WITH THE WEIGHT. I WOULD WEIGHT MYSELF AND GET A
WEIGHT. I GOT RIGHT BACK ON TO CHECK AND GOT A DIFFERENT
WEIGHT. I TRIED THIS SEVERAL TIMES AND GOT DIFFERENT WEIGHT.
CANNOT TRUST.

pay close attention to the other negative reviews--this is a piece of crap--platform broke first time i used it--poor quality throughout--do not buy this scale

Salter scale is as accurate as they get for the money spent. Well worth a good look for home use.

Don't Bother With This One!Mar 27, 2009
The Salter 9009ef scale is a real disappointment! It weighs inaccurately, with weights changing as much as twenty pounds from one minute to the next. I'm sending the scale back to the manufacturer for repair or replacement under its guarantee, but when it comes back, I'm donating it to a local charity resale store. I've already replaced it with a much better (and less costly) product.
If you are considering buying this scale, save yourself a headache, and buy another product.
Contruction Great, However Digital is DigitalFeb 28, 2009
This product is soundly made. The non-slip surface is large enough even for my size 10 feet and I still have room to spare. No fear of losing balance and falling off. The display is large and very easy to read.
But a Digital scale no matter what kind I've tried including this one is can fluctuate. I suggest weighing 3 times and taking the average.
