1Funai and Amazon rip-off BEWAREDec 16, 2009
Defective products Funai has terrible customer service and Amazon just passed the buck when the digital date switch caused the product to not be needed in the original time frame.
FYI: Philco no longer exists as a company just a former brand name Funai uses to fool the public into buying substandard crap

1Just outlasted warrantyDec 15, 2009
This devise lasted just long enough to outlive the warranty so that Philco could cash in on the government rebate program. I called their support and they have no record of these units failing and could offer no support on solving the problem. But it's clear from the reviews that most die after some short period of time.

1Beware Philco Any ModelSep 27, 2009
Purchased February 2, 2009. Died September 27, 2009. Thanks Funai Corp, and Chinese manufacturing for a $58 piece of electronic equipment that lasted longer than 6 months. Don't even think of wasting you money on this piece of garbage. Had to re-program (scan) at least every 2-3 weeks and sound quality was horrible. And I couldn't even get a coupon.

1Don't purchaseSep 15, 2009
This converter box, recommended by the government only worked about 3 weeks then just completely stopped. No matter what I did and even called customer service. Just not a good investment.

3It does the jobAug 04, 2009
The only controls are on the remote; the overall look and feel is rather cheap. But, I have no others to compare, and it does the job.
