not entirely wireless...Jun 27, 2009 The sound is fantastic, but don't let the "wireless" catch phrase mislead you...the surround sound speakers are connected via speaker wire to a box that provides the sound remotely...easy set up though, and happy with purchase...I bought one refurbished for over 1/2 off "new" price, and it is perfect...
Excellent system, easy setupMay 15, 2009 Combined this HTiB with a new Panasonic Plasma. Connected with HDMI to take advantage of the one button/one remote feature. This system works very well, was easy to setup, and is easy to run. I'm very happy.
Very Good ProductApr 10, 2009 I very pleased with this product. Was the a great value buy for anyone looking for an all-in 1 system!
Home theaterMar 20, 2009 Good deal for the price. Frustrating at first with the remote but ok after the learning curve.
It has a weird noise in the right rear speaker - It doesn't reproduce DTS from the Blue-raysMar 07, 2009 The home theater is OK. However, the right rear speaker has an annoying noise when turning on. When the movie starts the noise is not audible but still there. I believe it is because of the wireless system.
Regarding image, the upgrading is OK, but sometimes gives blurry images until it "warms up." Some movies look awesome, some others do not so.
This is a cheap home theater and if you are a college/graduate student like me with not too much resources, this is a good choice for now.
UPDATE: I just bought a PS3 and connected it to the PT960 through a digital optical cable. The HT does not reproduce DTS sound (standard in Blue-rays) because the optical input only recognizes stereo and Dolby Digital. What a disappointment...
