Get the 131A insteadApr 22, 2009 My C30A first wouldn't connect at all, so I sent it back. Bad board, they said. Still wouldn't connect. Bad solder, they said. Now it will only connect wired. I have a 111 (wired) and a 131, both work great, which is why I figured stick with Panasonic. I can't see the difference between the C30 and the other two, so go with them if they are available. Setup isn't too difficult but not exactly PNP, either.
Overall good productDec 28, 2008 Over all it is a great product. The picture quality is not quite what I was expecting but maybe that was my problem for not researching deeper.
I had a little trouble getting it set up but tech support was all I could wish it to be and my problems were soon taken care of.
Being able to have my friends watch the deer and turkey in the back yard with me is great.
The software and site that comes with the camera works flawlessly.
I really like the camera and I actually have it set up outside under my eaves, out of the weather and it has worked fine even in the below zero weather we have been having and the recent thaw and rain.
I think it is a fine system and the only problem I have is with the quality of the picture. My grandkids don't seem to care when they are watching the deer from their homes though.
IP May 25, 2008 This is a great little camera. It can easily be moved to different locations without having to re-install its software. For the money it really cannot be beaten. If I had a wish it would be higher pixel resolution and better low light capabilities. But then it would not be as affordable. I am very happy with my purchase.
wireless cameraMay 08, 2008 This camera is excelent!! I have tried in the past Dlink's and linksys's, and they are ok, but with this one I can point wherever I want to see.
I can also zooom easy by moving the center wheel on my mouse.
This one have no mic (no sound), there is one for 60.00 more that can provide that feature if needed.
Impressive deviceApr 12, 2008 This is the second Panasonic network camera I've purchased. One wired (BL-C10) and now wireless (BL-C30). They both perform great on my home network. I have one configured as a security monitor that emails me at work should anyone enter the monitored zone and it also sends the event photos to an off site server. The other is for distant family members who want to surf over and see what's happening on the family farm.
