This Tungsten C stopped working after one week.Sep 24, 2009 This Tungsten C worked fine for a while but after one week, the picture became distorted and the screen striated. I contacted the dealer whose response was "did you reset the default". I did and it didn't work. I contacted the dealer a second time and the response was basically, "we'll get back to you."
Palm's Tungsten C PDASep 15, 2009 The main reason I purchased the Tungsten C was to do my writing away from my laptop and I have been doing this with the device successfully. I downloaded version 11 of Documents to Go from [...]. I used the 6.2 OS for the Tungsten C from Palm.com because I have the Vista operating system on my laptop. It was necessary to add the palmhotsyncsetup utility from Pimlico for legacy devices (older devices) which was free from their website ([...]) to make the Tungsten C work. The wi-fi is giving me some problems but it is probally because I don't know how to use or set it correctly to view the web pages good. Docs to Go has an on-screen key board for writing on the Palm which I think is very good. The Palm on-screen keyboard does not work or I just don't know how to set it to work with Docs to Go. Let's see, what else? Hmmm. There was trial and error but I am happy with my purchase.
Better than smartphone, but bad web browserJan 26, 2009 I love the Tungsten C better than any smartphone. But, the web browser, the original, does not do popups, so many links I click on will not open. If anyone knows how to fix this, let me know. But, there are many more features that override this problem. I love it and will own one as long as I can find one to purchase. ..CG

Not compatable with Windows VistaOct 09, 2008 The Palm Tungsten C is not compatable with Windows Vista. they have yet to come out with software update or fix for this problem. After talking to Palm tech support it doesn't appear that they ever will or care to. The unit is great if you never upgrade to vista which Microsoft seems to be forcing on the public.
palm tungsten c reviewJul 18, 2008 I replaced a lost palm c rather than upgrade to a smart phone. I like the keyboard on the palm c and the Palm OS platform. I do not feel comfortable carrying an expensive smart phone with me when I go to the farm or work outside. I can then leave the palm in the truck or at the house and carry a cell phone in my pocket. I use the palm in my work, because i can load large healthcare drug databases, and everything revolves around the schedule/organizer.
