1st Blender, Lots of Research, Great ResultsJul 05, 2006
This is the first blender that I have ever purchased or used on any type of regular basis. I blend fresh and frozen fruit with ice every morning before work. It blends in seconds. It's not quiet, but I didn't expect a blender to be quiet.
I do love the Bandit Blend N Go. I was skeptical at first, but every morning, I dirty less dishes, saves time, and it blends the fruit and ice just as efficiently. I would also recommend it if you are an on-go-the person.
I have only had it five weeks, and so far I am happy with my purchase. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an upgrade from the smoothie 2000 and wants a reliable blender.

Very pleased with my new Oster BlenderJun 04, 2006
I recently purchased this item. It arrived yesterday and I have already used it twice.
It was shipped very quickly, and was packaged very well.
I have read other reviews on the Oster 4093-80 in which people complain that the blender is too noisy. I have never used a whisper quiet blender and to my knowledge none exist. I find this blender no more, nor no less, noisy than any other blender I have used.
It works great on ice. The bonus Blend N Go is great.
I love the look of this blender.
The only bad thing I have noticed so far, is the lid is not very well fitted for the blender jar. I'm not sure if I received a defective lid, or if all the lids are like this. I am in the mist of trying to get a replacement lid. However, today is Saturday and the Sunbean customer service hours are only Mon - Fri. All in all, I don't think the lid is that big of an issue, so long as it keeps the ingredients from flying all over the place when the blender is on.
I also feel I must add, this blender does not have a 350-watt motor, it has a 500-watt motor. It is very powerful, let me re-iterate: it's great on ice!
