5Bright Projection and great clockNov 19, 2009
This clock has a bold bright projection. I have bad eye sight and being as I don't wear glass to bed it makes it very easy to see. It is not bright enough to keep me up. I have seen some of the La Crosse projection alarm clocks and they are half as bright. It can run (not the projection but just the clock itself), when not plugged in, on two AA batteries - very nice for something like traveling.

I wish the projection was adjustable, and outdoor temp. would be nice too.

All around great clock at a good price.

3Not For the Deep SleeperNov 18, 2009
Cool design, awesome projection, everything worked right out of the box. Unfortunately, I had to return it because the alarm has no volume control, and it wasn't loud enough to wake me up, even as it progressed from one beep to a rapid four-beep alarm.

5yessssssssssssNov 15, 2009
i like how i can read the letter's on the ceiling very good product bought it in 08 and its still very good .

5Oregon Scientific Projecting clockOct 23, 2009
I received my first Oregon Scientific clock after I had heart surgery and had to lay on my back. It was great to look up on the ceiling to know what time it was. After 5 years the proj bulb quit and the company said it exceeded the usual life. I purchased another from Amazon and will now turn out the proj. light in the morning, doubling the life of the clock to ten yrs. happy days...

4Nice and simpleOct 22, 2009
Never having to set the time is nice, setting the alarm is simple, snooze easy to find in dark, and I love the time displayed on my ceiling.
Only downside I can say is my toddler children love to press buttons, and they have inadvertantly changed the TIME ZONE, which changes the time and when the alarm goes off. I wish I could lock that function out.
