Better Than The Moto H-15Jul 19, 2009 I bought the Moto H-300 as my first Bluetooth Wireless headset. Seems like a million years ago. During a move, I must have lost it. When I recently bought my BlackBerry Storm, I was looking for a new headset, so I purchased the Moto H-15, at more than $100, retail. Then, about a month ago, I found the H-300.
I do not like the thin, clear wraparound ear hanger (is that correct?) Nor do I get a decent fit every time with the inner ear bud, with the H-15. I must have a small ear canal, because it's like I have to "screw" the earbud inside my ear. And it's always coming lose.
Conversely, the H-300 fits nicely over the ear, and does not have the inner ear bud. Which the sound quality suffers some due to wind etc.
I have also found that the H-300, running on a AAA battery, actually has a longer life than the USB/wall charged H-15.
I suppose Moto put the clear ear hanger on to make the earpiece more visually appealing. It's not like someone can't tell you have a wireless earpiece in the side of your head. Put the H-300 hanger on the H-15, and maybe.....Better yet, by the H-300, and save a lot of bucks.
a very good headsetJun 04, 2009 I've been using this kind of headset for 3 years now. I'm buying my third one now so I can say I'm pretty pleased by it. The best feature is the AAA battery and the long talk time it gets u. I'm a driver and sometimes I talk for 12 hours in a row so if u talk that much is one of the best solutions for u. As for the durability I can tell u it's about a year if u talk like me. It paired good with my nokia phones. My advice is to try any headset u want to buy before u actually buy it(maybe from a friend that already has it#. The real test is to use while driving because that's when u can find the quality of the sound. One of the things I observed is that the quality of the sound depends not only by the headset but by the phone too. #for example one of my friends got a nokia bh-604 and first he tried it with a sony ericsson phone but the background noise, while driving, was horrible, then he got an iphone and was ok). I think every headset will work fine in a quiet enviroment so test it on the road. So in conclusion the key is to find the headset that pairs without problems with your phone.
Motorola Battery-powered bluetooth headsetNov 04, 2008 This is an excellent product especially for someone like myself who travels a lot. I don't have to haul around a charger. The reception seems a bit weak at times so it's important to keep have a fresh battery. But the device will give many hours (>20 hrs talk time)of quality sound until the weak battery becomes a factor. Overall this is a very good product.
An excellent Bluetooth HeadsetJun 19, 2008 While I can't speak from the standpoint of having owned more than one Bluetooth headset, I can say that this headset is a very good product. I have a substantial hearing loss in the upper and middle ranges of my hearing and still I find that this headset does a outstanding job of reproducing clear sound. One of the biggest single reasons that I bought it in the first place is that it uses common AAA-batteries. I have noticed that most Bluetooth headsets use rechargeable batteries which not only have a limited number of charges, but deny you the use of your headset when it is time to charge the battery. That is not the case with this headset; just put in a fresh battery, and you're good to go. Talk and standby times are also fantastic. I would easily recommend this Bluetooth Headset to anyone wanting a good product at a reasonable price.
Convenient And DependableJun 07, 2008 Inexpensive with good sound quality making it a great gift idea. Uses AAA battery for convenience. I've been using it daily for over a year without having to change the battery. Recommend to all.
