Highly recommended for bicycling.Sep 10, 2009 Highly recommended for bicycling. No wind noise, VOX works well with Motorola radio. Price is right.
Great for airsoft/paintballAug 11, 2009 My wife and I use this headset and we are both pleased with them. This headset is comfortable and the lower hinge keeps it tight and comfortable on the ear. After hours of use, I don't notice I have this on at all VS a smashing sensation with some other headsets. It also fits comfortable under both our masks (Vforce Shield and JT Spectra) and over the ear speaker doesn't noticeably obstruct ambient sound critical in stalking other players in airsoft and/or woodsball. The only thing that could be make this better is if it had a push to talk (PTT) button to help make it more accessible. I still gave it a 5 star rating because of the great price, and it does what is says. But if you really want a PTT button, maybe something would be better. As for my wife and I, we just modified our outfits so our radios are more accessible, and are happy with our purchase.

unusableJun 27, 2009 The product is not usable as it has the wrong size plug. I needed 1/8th and it came with a 3/32nd. The ad discription was incomplete as it failed to indicate what size plug it came with
Way better than I thought for airsoft...Apr 03, 2009 I bought two for my son and his friend for their airsoft games. They used them at night with Motorola Talkabouts. The next morning my son told me (13 year olds don't tell you much)that they worked "ok" so that would be "great" for the rest of us. Also I'm looking forward to using them on our sailboat for anchor setting. Testing them around the house they worked great, while whispering or talking normally they performed very well.

Not worth purchasing if you're not going to use voice-activated modeJan 14, 2009 I purchased these with the hope I could use them on an upcoming ski trip. Our walkies are not VOX (voice activated) compatible (VOX radios are too big to fit in your pocket comfortably), and I was hoping these headsets would have a button on the wire (etc) that you could press to activate PTT (Push To Talk) mode. They do not.
Instead, if you want to use PTT to talk, you need to take the radio out of your pocket, press the button, talk into headset release button. It's really no better than holding the walkie up to your head. Sigh.
(And I'm sure these work great with VOX radios, I just didn't want to use VOX since I've heard negative things about delays, hearing people's breathing, etc.)
