never worked all the time. it would fall asleep or not connect on restart. after a year i replaced it with "Belkin A3L791-S 50-Foot RJ45 CAT 5e Snagless Molded Patch Cable (Gray)" $12.99 from amazon.

This wireless USB adapter works great in my apartment, it was just what I needed to have internet access on my other computer. I highly recommend this product.
Causes Registry ErrorsOct 24, 2009
I reinstalled this device manually about 6 times before I finally discovered that it had a registry error. Had to dive through hundreds and hundreds of registry listings and delete the listing for it. Major pain.
On [...] I found 3 or 4 other folks out there had this same problem with 32 bit Vista. Not just me.

Not compatible with XP SP3Sep 18, 2009
Do not buy if you have XP Service Pack 3 as this product will not work. After 1.5 hours on the 'phone last night with Linksys tech support they were able to tell me that I had to roll back to SP2 or to buy a different Linksys product. Not happy with this at all.

well, i wasn't expecting much, however, it is small, cute and gets me decent range. It was easier to install than i thought it would be.i am not networking literate so it was nice.
