old technology, compatibility problemsOct 06, 2008 Does not work with newer (2008) Sandisk Extreme III cards. Also has problems with some types of much older cards like Kingston Elite Pro cards.
Otherwise it's a decent reader, very small and compact, but with the compatibility problems and it getting so long in the tooth I would avoid.
Lexar Firewire CompactFlash ReaaderAug 30, 2008 I purchased a used Lexar Firewire COMPACTFLASH reader through Amazon. The transaction functioned quickly and accurately, the merchandise was received promptly and in excellent condition, the product worked very well, and the price was outstanding. What more can you ask of an internet purchase?

Lexar firewire working with IBook G4Jul 30, 2007 This product work really good in this computer, I used to work with USB1 memory card readers, this device is fantastic and make your file transfer operation at least four times faster. If you work with 1 GB cards or greater you MUST buy this device.
