Great for getting stuff out of small jars. Why throw away good mustard. Never had a problem in the dishwasher with the wooden handle, but perhaps it depends on if you use the "drying" cycle. I don't and I have never had a wooden handle break or splinter yet.

All of their spatulas are great. One thing to note: although the detachable head is dishwasher safe, the wooden handle is most certainly *not*. If you want to use your dishwasher, you'll have to take the head off, throw it in the machine, and wash the wooden handle by hand.

There were 3 deep cracks. I rubbed it down with mineral oil, but really think this one could have had a bit nicer handle.

I sell these spatulas and I finally kept couple for myself. I should've done that long time ago, they are great! The little one is firm enough to cut through an omelete, they are a must if for good non-stick cookware that you do not want to damadge.

We have half a dozen Le Creuset spatulas in various sizes and shapes, and we love them all. They withstand extreme heat and don't stain. We have cooked with them frequently for several years and they still look brand new. BTW the spatula head pulls off for cleaning separately in the dishwasher, without ruining the wooden handle.
