Don't botherJul 19, 2009 These speakers sounded great but I do like to crank up the occasional KISS or VanHalen and these speakers just stopped working. I've never blown a speaker before but I guess that's what happened.

Another set of KLH's Cheap plastic speakersJun 09, 2009 I got these speakers brand new for a bookshelf stereo in our guest room, and I still remember the horrible experience I had with them. Not worth your time. These speakers should not be used indoors or outdoors. The sound quality is just flat out horrible. All the sound is muddled together and muffled. I used these for 6 months until they broke. One of these speakers was on a table about 4 feet high and fell off and hit the CARPET floor. It shattered to bits. The speaker cone came out of the cheap plastic housing. It yanked other damn speaker off the shelf along with it! It was a bookshelf stereo setup in a massive heap of speaker wire and broken plastic! Don't buy these speakers! They are NOT worth your money!

Okay for the price.Feb 24, 2009 These were a good price for small speakers I just wanted to sit on a shelf. Not fantastic sound, but gives adequate sound in a small room and they don't take up a lot of space.
Great sound for the moneySep 01, 2008 I installed these in my garage and am very pleased with the sound and clarity. A salesman at a big box chain electronics store tried to talk me out of them, but for $30.00, you just can't beat these speakers. They are easy to set up. Anyone looking for an inexpensive speaker for a garage, patio or for a secondary stereo system would be very happy with them.

Not bad for the price, but not satisfying in the long haul.Nov 12, 2006 I used a pair of these speakers to set up what I called a "bubba vision" cheap home theater in my family room with an old Sansui receiver, an inexpensive DVD player, and a JVC 27" TV.
These worked very well, and were a considerable improvement over the speakers in the TV. However, it wasn't soon before I felt rather dissatisfied with them. Not unhappy, but just aware that I was listening to a very well built but ultimately cheap set of speakers, so I resold them.
However, I also own a pair of the AudioSource LS200 speakers. They cost even less than these speakers, and to me have a bigger and warmer sound. I'm still using those and plan to be for quite some time.
