 good while it workedAug 13, 2009
This was a great gift idea and I used it for about 6 months. It started to make a lot of noise and then none at all. The compressor is done. I called the warranty center and since I have my gift receipt, they are going to send me a replacement for a small shipping charge with no hassle, that was the good news. Hope the new one works out better.

It was a BIG disappointment! It couldn't hold the 8 bottles of wine as described. The racks were like coat hangers! I would have given it half a star if I could. We left it at our trash bin after one week!

Was given item as wedding gift 5 months ago - "wine cellar" stopped working. Unable to get original receipt (sort of embarassed to ask since it was from our director) Was told there is absolutely nothing that can be done. If I would like to get it working again ~ see a refrigeration repair center. Apparently the serial # doesn't mean anything. If you need support - don't go with a Haier!

Great when it works, lasted 4 monthsApr 20, 2008
This wine cooler was received as a Christmas gift and lasted until April 14, not even 4 months. It is simply dead, no light, readout, fan...nothing. I will have to ship it somewhere to have it fixed, probably not worth it, so much for a 12 month warranty. Made in China.
