Awesome paper!Sep 24, 2009
I am a professional artist. I recently purchased a large format HP printer to print gallery quality art prints to sell on my website and at art shows. I bought this paper to use with an Epson printer, for obvious reasons, and by chance, I ended up with the HP version printer. Well, the paper works great with HP if you were wondering! The image is so beautiful on the paper and the paper is just lovely to touch!
Do pay close attention when you open the paper out of its plastic pouch which side is the front and which is the back. The difference is not obvious and the print will look faded on the wrong side. I made the mistake. It's too expensive of paper, to make it again!!
Otherwise, I absolutely love it!

I use this paper to print digital fine art images. Combine it with fine tuning in photoshop (or not) and you'll have an incredible looking image that is definitely still photographic, but will have the feel of a water color print. It is a paper with a beautiful texture, but be forewarned not all printers will accept it due to size and thickness. Consult your printer's spec sheet to see if it will work for you. If it does, you'll end up with a softly textured image that will set it apart from just ordinary glossy photo paper results.

This paper is great! Colors were more vibrant and seem to "pop" a little more than other papers. This is a good paper for a more artistic look to your photos.

VELVET FINE ART PAPER 13X19- Excellent for Fine Art ReproductionsFeb 26, 2007
I bought this paper to make fine art reproductions using an Epson 4490 printer and it is just wonderful (both are actually). It is amazing how the quality of the paper imparts such a different look on the image. The resulting reproduction looked so much like the original watercolor that I worked from that I was amazed. I highly recommend this paper.
