Couldn't make it steam milk. Finally gave up.Nov 01, 2009 The first one of these that I ordered was returned because it didn't heat up. Its replacement was just as bad. I tried several times to make cappuccino and there wasn't enough steam to even heat the milk, let alone froth it. The last time I tried (about the 4th), there wasn't any steam at all, even though I put in water way up past the steam marking on the carafe. I'm sending this one back for a refund. It did work fine for expresso, but that's not what I bought it for.
DeLonghi EC5 Cappuccino MakerSep 30, 2009 I sent this cappuccino maker as a gift to my daughter. Once she figured out how to disable the safety feature, she really loved it.
Great Espresso MakerAug 24, 2009 I purchased the Delonghi EC5 to replace my Mr Coffee Espresso Machine that decided to spew steaming hot water all over rather than into the cup.
This new guy works really well, the only thing I need to work out is getting more out of it. I've yet to push the limit of the reservoir. But overall it has been really impressive.

It's OKMay 24, 2009 DeLonghi EC5 Steam-Driven 4-Cup Espresso and Cappuccino Maker, Black
Unit makes a decent cup but it's a little inconvenient to make one. My Mr. Coffee did a much better job, but they no longer make that model.

Great Product for the Price!Mar 13, 2009 Wanted great tasting cappuccinos and lattes without the headache sticker price of most espresso machines. Foamer works great (could be longer, only complain) and shots of espresso come out perfectly.
