This works just fine. The sounds are perfect. The unit is very easy to use. My wife loves the waves the most (she's from the eastern shore of Maryland).

I LOVE this sound machine, it has such a wide variety of noises to choose from, optional timer (I turn the timer off so it will run through the night), it plugs directly into the wall so no need to worry about batteries running out, and it has a volume control.
I am SHOCKED at how expensive the price is on here though. I purchased mine from Walmart for $14! Mind you, it was a year ago, but still why would the price be THAT different? I suggest shopping around!

I have a small house and have always used a sound machine since my first child was born almost 6 years ago. I purchased this particular one 3 years ago when my second child was born. I have no complaints and it works well. I question the price they have here because I bought it for $19.99 at CVS. $99 seems like a pretty big mark up in price. I would highly recommend this unit, however I wouldn't purchase it from amazon for this price.

I do not own this so can't comment on how it works, it's the price I'm concerned about. I found the same exact model at Walmart in the Pharmacy department for $15.00. I've always gotten great deals through Amazon but this price is crazy! Please check out other buying options before paying this inflated price.
I bought the Marpac SleepMate 980A through Amazon and have been happy with that. If you are mainly interested in white noise that is a good one.

Awesome! Easy to use, great price-a must for good sleeping in a noisy house. Better than the one I got from a baby supply magazine.
