 Batteries, bummer!Nov 05, 2009
I wish I had realized it required batteries. I thought it was like one i had in Germany made by Phillips that recharged on any USB port. Who wants to have to buy and dispose of batteries, not green at all.
Performance is fine, just hate the battery thing.

Hace un año compré este mp3 de 1GB y me resultó fantastico, es buen producto y resistente. Mi trabajo como geologo hizo que lo usara en condiciones de sol, humedad y caidas, y todavia funciona perfectamente. En el ultimo año he comprado cuatro mp3 semejantes, ahora de mayor capacidad, para regalarle a mis amigos y familiares. Todos estan muy complacidos.

I bought this mp3/radio hoping that it would address the issue that the iphone has no radio. When I went to the gym, i like to listen to TVs. Anyhow, this addressed it in a way. But, the sound quality of the radio is pretty weak. It has a lot of static in the background.
The software for loading MP3 onto this MP3 player (which came with this) is quite good. It is easy to use. I have a Mac. It is as nearly good as iTune. Perhaps, even better in some areas.
But, now ipod has radio built into it. I am not sure if this was really worth it.
For $25, the price is quite good. But, it only plays MP3, no m4a or m4u. Because to change your itune setting when importing music from CD.

Very nice looking, sleek MP3 player. Battery life seems longer then my old MP3 player that I have had for 5 years. Only negative I have found after having it for about a month is it only picks up a few radio stations and those are not very strong.
