this thing has great battery life, great sound quality, just an all around great product. The screen is a little small but the thing is tiny and that is it's best feature in my opinion. No bulky bs to carry around.

I like Coby's MP3 players. This was an upgrade from the 256mb player I've been enjoying for the last few years now, and the FM radio and display screen, not to mention 2 gigs of storage space, are a definite plus. I don't mind the lack of a shuffle function, since I listen to a lot of classical music and don't want the individual movements of a Beethoven sonata being played back in a random order.
The device is very easy to use...until it comes to deleting the hidden files on the device, the ones that don't turn up when you open it in Explorer. In this case, it's two hideous songs pre-loaded onto the player, both of which I'd really, really like to delete forever. Apart from re-formatting the device, any suggestions?

My ipod broke and I was looking fora cheap, but excellent alternative to an apple player...this little shuffle is excellent!! So easy to use, small, I love it!

Simple and efficient. The earphones are not so good, but you can change it with no problems. Good sound quality.
