well-Oct 28, 2009 it is not so bad to listen music, but it doesn't support recording, and you can't erase musics by itself. if you want to remove some of music, you have to connect with computer and erase it. and the screen is so small so that you couldn't see the subtitles on your video. especially if you are from out of USA, or if you want to put some songs which titles are not written in english, you'd better to find out what's the language they support. in addition, I don't think the radio have a good quality.
colOct 22, 2009 I like this mp3 player. I just hate that the battery life is only eight hours. I am use to listening to my old one all day without it cutting off on me. But other than the battery life the player is great.
If it sounds too good to be trueOct 21, 2009 If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Before I get into the review i'll explain breifly what I was looking for in a player. Personally, I was in the market for a small flash-based (image/video) 4-8GB multimedia device. With iPod stealing the entire US market, I was open to more lesser known brands. Microsoft Zune was my first choice, but with its plastic control scheme not comfortable with my thumb, I decided to overlook the series.
Browsing throughout Amazon, I came across Coby's small touch-screen 4GB player. Which seemed to have everything I was looking for in a player -- including a decent price. It mimicked the iPod Nano design and had a decent battery life. But when I received the product, it was a mess.
Disappointed, very disappointed.
Horrible control scheme. The touch-pad irritates me more than Zune plastic control pad, and/or any other player I've encountered before. It has a delay EVERY TIME you want to navigate another section; for example if you want to play another song DELAY. Besides that, no album artwork, radio-settings are horrendous getting stuck in the mode after a few minutes having a reset the system.
If I would have tested the player before purchasing it, I would have never bought it.
Frustrating at timesOct 18, 2009 The first one didn't allow music file transfers, however Coby support was excellent as was Amazon to get me another unit promptly. I am satisfied with
the product, but It can be frustrating at times trying to get to and from
sub menus'because it doesn't always want to respond to the touch control.
For the price I would recommend.
coolOct 09, 2009 My device not working. I need information how to reset that item, because 1 of them not working
