2Bad for Birding - Make me dizzyOct 21, 2009
I purchased these with the intent of using for bird watching but they literally make me feel dizzy and green. No matter what I try, they just don't seem to provide a clear, distinct view. Seem abnormally darker than others I've used and never give a crisp clear view. On the other hand, they are by far more ergonomic than the old ones I owned, feel great, solid, nice set...but wish I'd kept my 30 year old set instead. Not good for bird watching. Can't begin to imagine for sports. Perhaps its my eyes? Unsure but they don't compare to 30 year old set.

4Decent Binoculars, not good for birdingFeb 08, 2009
I bought these binoculars to watch the birds in my backyard but failed to do sufficient pre-sale research. Their nearest focus point is probably 50ft and their magnification is generally higher than you would want. So they are ill suited for my intended use, but that is my fault, not Bushnells.

For viewing things further away they are fine. They seem rugged and very solid, though I haven't done much with them. I like the rubberized housing. The one general complaint I have is that the rocker focus mechanism has too much give in it. You can rock it for a few degrees before it actually starts doing any focusing.

5Great Product for a Good PriceJan 14, 2009
The binoculars were purchsed as a gift for my wife. She was thrilled with the quality of the optics, and the ease in which she can focus the binocluars, which is important to her bird watching hobby.Bushnell Powerview 16x50 Binocular

5Nice pair of binoculars!Jan 07, 2009
This pair of binoculars has the power of larger, more expensive models in a compact set. Came with a case. Arrived quickly.

5Try it, You'll like it!Jan 06, 2009
I purchased this set of binoculars for may husband as a gift and he loves them. They are easy to manage in using them. He can see the birds, he so dearly loves and can identify them readily. I use them also. Good buy!
