Best thing ever!Nov 16, 2009 I just purchased one of these the day before yesterday and I am in love! I was a daily Starbucks visitor and I think that this is better that any commercial latte. I highly recommend this item to anyone wanting to make coffee drinks at home.
YES!!!!Nov 11, 2009 Perfect. A way to treat yourself a little fancy that's not a huge investment in terms of energy or time. The frother-nozzle thing does take some getting used to.

Cappucino maker is terrificNov 02, 2009 The product is mostly easy to use--just a bit fiddly. However, I have tried the types of machines with frothers on the side that froth the milk separately, and found them hard to use and to clean, not to mention expensive. The Bialetti, a bargain at under $80, is very fast, and makes delicious cappucino, even using lowfat milk.
It does require a strong espresso (Cuban coffee works well), since the filter basket holds only a little ground coffee.
Quick-n-DirtyOct 27, 2009 This thing makes an "OK" cup of cappuccino. I like this product because it makes a decent cup to wake me up every work day. If one follows direction correctly and not overfill on water, you'll never have problem using it. In addition, after the coffee is made, I fill the top part with half cold water to cool it down so I can clean it in 15 minutes. Overall, I'm happy with it enough to use it every day, except on weekends when I have more time to use a French press.
I would recommend this Mukka to anyone who wants a better cup of coffee/cappuccino. This is definitely better than drip-coffee makers for regular coffee but a bit pricy for just that. Skip this Mukka if you want a REALLY good cup of coffee/cappuccino.
Great coffee maker..once you learn how to use it properly.Oct 24, 2009 I've had my Mukka Express for well over a year now, and I love it dearly...it makes a great cappuccino. This has not come without some effort on my part, however...in tightly sealing the unit before placing on the stovetop, using finely ground Illy espresso, not compacting the coffee grounds ...still to occasionally experience water leaks, the pressure valve not fully releasing, etc.
After reading previous reviewers suggestions however, I tried oiling the gasket and threads with vegetable oil, and was amazed at the results. No leaks at all...perfect, effortless brewing and perfect cappucino.
You still need to use the proper type of coffee grounds, avoid compressing the grounds(I tap the unit on the counter to get the grounds level), and keep the grounds off the threads, etc., but oiling the gasket and threads has been the key for me to easily get consistently excellent cappuccino without having to deal with any mechanical issues.
