ReplacementJan 11, 2009 I bought this to replace one I bought a few years back..
Glad was still available to buy and at the price is great, considering what some are charging these days.
Fits stealthly out the way! Like to keep my setup minimal and clean.
Only can recommend this> Does what it says on the tin!
Adequate USB hub for a sterilized officeNov 02, 2008 I don't want to sound grumpy about this USB hub. I've had my hub for more than a year now and it has worked with all of the flash drives I've plugged into it. The four ports on the back of the hub are too close for my liking.
I can't speak to the iPod shuffle (don't have one) but my digital camera plugs in nicely. For personal use, though, I'd like a little more design and personality to go along with the functionality.
Elegant, clean design and easy to use...Aug 19, 2008 I originally got this on discount at Best Buy as an impulse buy. This has proven to be very useful in terms of spreading the available usb ports on my computer. Although now, my computer has several of its own usb ports, I still keep it around. For portability, it's not very compact by design. I keep mine on the desktop hooked up to my printer, etc. So when I need to switch from desktop to laptop, I can easily move the devices without having to unplug every item. For ease of use, it loses a star. The ports are in the back, with a lone port on the top. The back ports making hiding the usb plugged devices easy, but it also makes plugging in new ones a pain. Only 3 ports in the back and a convenient one ono the top. Never had a problem with it in the few years I've owned it.
USB 2.0 4 port HUBMay 19, 2008 The concept of turning one USB port into four easily accessible USB ports is great. We currently use the units we bought and not only is this a very practical and valuable product but being purchased as a used unit was an excellent value.
Not all devices workDec 07, 2007 I have had my hub for four months. It is true that it is a small hub, but I like this fact. I like the USB port on the top which makes it easy to swap devices. I have plugged in a Canon digital camera, a Xerox printer, an iPod, and a Palm cradle. What does not work is my Lexar card reader.
